Powerpoint Tips

1. Make sure when making the powerpoint you do not overdue the transitions.
2. Allow time to ensure that all your links work for videos and audio.
3. Make sure you have proper visuals for the presentation to help those visual learners.
4. Make sure you do not fill up the slide with all words so you are likely to read from the screen.
5. Make sure to save often so you do not lose your hard work due to computer issues.

1. Prezi can be a great way to engage the class in the presentation.
2. Prezi can provide video and audio clips to go along with your teaching.
3. Prezi can be used to teach various topics in your class such as math, social studies, english, etc.

Tips For Using Video In The Classroom....

1. Use videos to create a fun learning environment for the students. This will also allow students who are visual learnings to better grasp these new topics.
2. Create a video with appropriate transitions. Not crazy ones, too many, or videos without transitions.
3. Set up an environment that will work well for recording. (e.g. no noise, bad lighting, etc)
4. Do not let the video editing consume all your time. Use a program that allows template or other options to help.
5. Use a camera meant for video recording. A standard digital camera may not produce the best quality images.
